In a unique light projection collaboration, I joined forces with stylist Bhisan Rai and model Adam to breathe life into a series of images that transcend the boundaries of time and culture. Bhisan curated images from biblical paintings, including depictions of Jesus, Mary, and Hieronymus Bosch's 'Garden of Earthly Delights,' injecting the project with layers of historical and symbolic depth.
At the heart of this visual narrative stands Adam, the model, whose appearance intriguingly mirrors the essence of a young Jesus, complete with his distinctive long hair and an unmistakably Asian aesthetic. The fusion of these diverse elements is undeniably poetic, challenging conventional representations and beckoning viewers into a realm where spirituality and cultural identity seamlessly intertwine.
